Chemical Constituents: The plant contains monosodium methylarsonate,Isorhamnetin-glucoside, kaempferol, luteolin, penduletin, piscidic acids, quercetrin, rutin, and β-sitosterol, polysaccharides that contain galactose, arabinose, xylose, and rhamnose, skin contains calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, and selenium. The edible pulp contains biothiols, taurine, flavonols, tocopherols, and carotenoid, The edible pulp contains biothiols, taurine, flavonols, tocopherols, and carotenoids. seeds are rich in phosphorus and zinc, polyunsaturated fatty acids.
