Chemical Composition:

Seeds of Dendrocalamus contains two new triterpenoids, 1beta,2a,3beta,24-tetrahydroxy-16beta- O -acetylolean-12-ene-24- O -beta-D-glucopyranoside and 16beta- O -acetylolean-12-ene-28-oic acid 28- O -a-{L-rhamnopyranosyl (1?3)}-beta-D-arabinopyranoside.
